Francesco Candeloro (Venice, IT, 1974) has recently exhibited at Red Stamp Art Gallery on the occasion of his solo show and Dutch premiere OTHER LIGHTS.

He places light and color at the core of his research by using them as clues to deepen spatial and temporal dynamics; for Candeloro "art is a vision of time", a vision which he shows us for example, but not only, through the transparencies of the colored diaphragms of plexiglass of the surfaces of his various types of artworks. These, in their spatial placement and displacement, give life to interwoven interactions and developments and become filters of connection with the dimension of time through their special relationship with the light source, which changes in the passing of days and seasons in an infinite variety of natural and artificial emanations.

Light and color, space and time, sign and shape, proportion, rhythm and movement, eye and outlook on people and places are the keystones of the artistic investigation and production of Francesco Candeloro; the artist looks for "multiple and multiplied visions" to give us back and manifest the inner and authentic essence of the continuous flow of the real.

Transparency, reflection, layering, multiplicity and coexistence of different levels are part of his visual universe, which brings into being an observation that runs through it, and brings to interconnection and to simultaneous perception different elements, which are united in an open network of relations and interferences: all of the artist's production, articulated into several series, testifies this intent, from the architectural installations in windows and the ambient neon lights, to the works of the "Mirroring doubles" dedicated to urban skylines, to the "multidimensional" pieces of the series "Prisms", and the dynamic trajectories of drawings and colors unfolded on wall of the works "Book", as "Directions".

On show at Red Stamp Art Gallery one of the colored cubic portraits of the series "Eyes" and some photographic works of the cycle "Times of the light", where the factors light and time are the truly sought protagonists which infuse the image, captured by means of long exposure times, with a wider and airy scope, so that a time longer than that of the single and quick instant of a shot is embodied.

Francesco Candeloro has exhibited internationally in numerous solo and collective exhibitions and installations in architectural and landscape contexts; his works are part of important private and public collections. We recall here in summary: the solo show "City of cities" at Fortuny Museum in Venice in 2010 and the participation in 2015, in in the same venue, to the prestigious exhibition "Proportio"; in 2010 "Intimate Places", site-specifc intervention by the Palladian Villa Pisani Bonetti (Bagnolo di Lonigo, Vicenza, IT); in 2011 the installation "Places of Time" at Cordusio Unicredit Palace (Milan, IT) and the personal exhibition "Oblique" by the Ambrosetti Foundation for Contemporary Art (Palazzolo sull'Oglio, Brescia, IT); in 2014 the presence in the IV Edition of the Contemporary Art Biennial "Del Fin del Mundo" (Argentina and Chile) and the show at Neuer Kunstverein in Aschaffeburg, Germany; in 2015/2016 the exhibition "Arte Fiera 40 – History of a Collection" at MAMbo, Museum of Modern Art of Bologna, IT.

Francesco Candeloro (Venezia, 1974) ha di recente esposto alla Red Stamp Art Gallery in occasione della sua personale e premiere olandese OTHER LIGHTS.

L'artista pone al nucleo della sua ricerca la luce ed il colore che utilizza come chiavi di lettura per approfondire dinamiche temporali e spaziali; per Candeloro “l'arte è una visione del tempo”, visione che l'artista ci restituisce per esempio, ma non solo, attraverso le trasparenze dei diaframmi colorati di plexiglass delle superfici dei suoi diversi tipi di opere, che nel loro collocarsi e dislocarsi spazialmente danno vita a intrecci di interazioni e sviluppi, divenendo filtri di relazione con la dimensione del tempo per mezzo del loro rapporto privilegiato con la fonte luminosa, col suo mutare nel trascorrere temporale di giorni e stagioni e con la sua infinita gamma di emanazioni naturali e artificiali.

Luce e colore, spazio e tempo, forma e segno, proporzione, ritmo e movimento, occhio e sguardo sulle persone e sui luoghi, costituiscono i cardini dell'indagine artistica e dell'operare di Francesco Candeloro; l'artista cerca “visioni plurime, moltiplicate”, per riuscire a restituire e manifestare l'essenza interiore e autentica del flusso continuo del reale.

Trasparenza, riflesso, stratificazione, molteplicità e compresenza di livelli fanno parte del suo universo visivo, che pone in essere un osservazione che attraversa, portando a interconnessione e contemporaneità di percezione elementi diversi, uniti in un' infinita rete di rapporti e interferenze: tutta la sua produzione, articolata in diverse serie, è testimone di questo intento, dalle installazioni nelle architetture o di luci neon in ambiente, alle opere dei “Doppi specchianti” dedicate a skyline urbani, ai lavori “multidimensionali” della serie “Prismi” fino alle traiettorie dinamiche di segni e colori dispiegati a parete delle opere “Libro”, come “Direzioni (Libero 6)”.

In mostra alla Red Stamp Art Gallery uno dei colorati ritratti cubici della serie “Occhi” e alcune opere fotografiche del ciclo “I tempi della luce”: in queste sono proprio i fattori luce e tempo i cercati protagonisti che infondono all'immagine, catturata con lunghi tempi di esposizione, una portata altra, più vasta e ariosa, a contenere un tempo più esteso rispetto a quello di un unico e breve attimo di scatto.

Francesco Candeloro ha esposto internazionalmente in numerose mostre personali, collettive e installazioni in contesti architettonici e paesaggistici; i suoi lavori sono presenti in importanti collezioni private e pubbliche. Ricordiamo qui in sintesi: la personale presso Museo Fortuny di Venezia “Città delle città” nel 2010 e la partecipazione del 2015 nella stessa sede, alla prestigiosa rassegna “Proportio”; nel 2010 l'intervento “Intimi Luoghi” nella palladiana Villa Pisani Bonetti (Bagnolo di Lonigo, Vicenza); nel 2011 “Luoghi del Tempo”, installazione a Palazzo Cordusio Unicredit (Milano) e la personale “Obliqui”, presso la Fondazione Ambrosetti per L'Arte Contemporanea (Palazzolo sull'Oglio, Brescia); nel 2014 la partecipazione alla IV Edizione della Biennale d'Arte Contemporanea “Del Fin del Mundo” (Argentina e Cile) e la mostra al Neuer Kunstverein in Aschaffeburg, Germania ; nel 2015/2016 la mostra “Arte Fiera 40 – Storia di una Collezione” presso il MAMbo, Museo di Arte Moderna di Bologna.

Armida Gandini (Brescia, IT, 1968), at her second exhibition in the Netherlands, exposes on the occasion of FOUR DIMENSIONS for the first time at Red Stamp Art Gallery, introducing the video artwork "Ask her how it went". It was purposely produced in 2015 for a site-specific intervention for the "Secret – Traces of Memory", event that in 2016 reached its 8th edition in the evocative setting of the Grimaldina Tower of the Genoa Ducal Palace; the artist was presented to Art Commission Events, organizer of the show, by Red Stamp Art Gallery, in collaboration with curator Marco Nember.

The theme of identity in relation to the world is at the center of Armida Gandini's research and occupies a prominent place in her projects, which are developed by means of different languages such as photography, drawing, installation and video.

The dimensions of space and time that she investigates are mainly of a mental nature: space is often represented in her works as an undefined white field with no coordinates and directional references or, as in the case of the displayed sequence, as context extrapolated from the worldly and transported to an abstract dimension; it's a space conceived and presented by Armida Gandini as a symbolic site, blank page and suspended situation open to anything that can then be marked, written, imagined , a sort of "theater of the conscience" of happenings, actions, appearances. Within these conceptual parameters, mirrors of interiorly lived dynamics, the temporal sense is that of the liquid and circular time of the psyche, where each one’s personality is defined by the stratification of experiences, memories, acts, meetings, obstacles, fears, visions and intents, in which each arrival, achievement or conquest is always the beginning of something new and unpredictable to be encountered and faced through personal resources and an intimate unity of an individuality that has been gradually built along the personal experiences.

In the video "Ask her how it went" the scheme of the universally known “Hopscotch” game, drawn on the cobbles by the little girl with a piece of chalk, is a metaphor of place of experience and existence, personal and sacred space that everyone carves for themselves in the world; this story highlights and tells, during the virtual passing of a week, the power of the intention expressed through the sign, in this case of the firm and steadfast determination in defending the unique personal sphere by means of the undaunted repeating of a mark with ever growing obstinacy despite its cancellation by external agents: intrinsic strength of a gesture that acts to outline an imprint and ultimately leads to the persistence of the memory through time by means of traces in space, which sometimes are evident and clear and other times just indicative clues.

Armida Gandini has exhibited internationally in various galleries and institutions, among which in Italy: Flash Art Museum, Trevi, Perugia, 2006; GAMeC, Modern and Contemporary Art Gallery, Bergamo, 2007; MART Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art of Trento and Rovereto, 2010; CRAC Research Centre of Contemporary Art, Cremona, 2004. Her artworks are present in private and public collections such as: Boccaccio Foundation (Certaldo, Florence), Combat Prize (Livorno), MAC Museum of Contemporary Art in Lissone (Monza and Brianza), MAGA Art Museum of Gallarate (Varese); in 2014 she won the “Visible White” award of the Celeste Prize for the "Best single work".

Armida Gandini (Brescia, 1968), alla sua seconda mostra nei Paesi Bassi, espone in occasione di FOUR DIMENSIONS per la prima volta alla Red Stamp Art Gallery, presentando l'opera video “Fatti raccontare come è andata”, prodotta nel 2015 appositamente per un intervento site-specific per “Segrete - Tracce di memoria”, appuntamento giunto nel 2016 all' VIII Edizione nella suggestiva location della Torre Grimaldina del Palazzo Ducale di Genova; l'artista è stata presentata ad Art Commission Events, organizzatore della rassegna, da Red Stamp Art Gallery, in collaborazione col curatore Marco Nember.

Il tema dell’identità, in relazione con il mondo, è al centro dell' indagine di Armida Gandini e occupa un posto di primo piano nei suoi progetti, che si sviluppano mediante linguaggi diversi come la fotografia, il disegno, l’installazione, il video.

Le dimensioni dello spazio e del tempo indagate dall'artista sono soprattutto di natura mentale: lo spazio, spesso rappresentato nelle sue opere come un indefinito campo bianco privo di coordinate e riferimenti direzionali o, come nel caso del video in mostra, contesto estrapolato dal mondano e trasportato in una dimensione astratta, è concepito e presentato da Armida Gandini come sito simbolico, pagina bianca e situazione sospesa, aperta a tutto ciò che può esservi poi segnato, scritto, immaginato e sorta di “teatro della coscienza” di accadimenti, azioni, apparizioni. All'interno di questi parametri concettuali, specchi di dinamiche vissute interiormente, il senso temporale è quello del tempo liquido e circolare della psiche, dove la personalità di ciascuno si definisce attraverso la stratificazione di esperienze, memorie, atti, incontri, ostacoli, paure, visioni e intenti, in cui ogni arrivo, raggiungimento o conquista è sempre l'inizio di qualcosa di nuovo e imprevedibile a cui andare incontro e da affrontare con le proprie risorse, per mezzo dell'intima unità di un'individualità man mano costruita lungo il vissuto unico di ciascuno.

Nel video “Fatti raccontare come è andata” lo schema del gioco universalmente noto della campana disegnato dalla bambina col gesso sul selciato è metafora del luogo dell'esperienza e dell' esistenza, spazio personale e sacro che ognuno si traccia nel mondo; in questa vicenda viene evidenziata e raccontata, durante il virtuale trascorrere di una settimana, la potenza dell'intenzione espressa attraverso il segno, in questo caso ferma e tenace volontà nel difendere il proprio ambito unico , ripetendo il proprio tracciato imperterritamente, con sempre maggior ostinazione, nonostante la cancellazione da parte di agenti esterni: intrinseca forza di un gesto che agisce per delineare un'impronta e che conduce infine al permanere della memoria nel tempo attraverso tracce nello spazio , a volte evidenti e chiare e altre solo indiziarie.

Marilena Vita (Syracuse, IT, 1972) exhibited for the first time in the Netherlands in 2014 on the occasion of her solo show SLEEPLESS SOUL at Red Stamp Art Gallery. The artist employs more mediums (painting, installation, photography, video art, performance) with the common purpose of bringing to light, to the existence in the real world, universes and circumstances that she encountered in the private ambit of the soul, in the intimacy of the psyche, to allow herself and the viewers to deal with conditions and experiences which belong to the collective imagination and to the universal emotional sphere.

For Marilena Vita the spatial dimension is in the first place enacted through her body, in staging her performances or by entering into situations where she defines the set and acts as the subject of photographic shots; in these contexts her physicality seems to increasingly penetrate an elsewhere gifted with an almost fairy-tale, but not surreal allure: it's a transfigured spacetime of events recalled from the depth of her imaginative senses and transported as an epiphany in the present of a one-time action or of occurrences which are evoked by images. These scenes appear to the surface through the narration of a conscience, that is continuously looking for the reflected vision of a self that transmutes while being immersed in different states.

As she said, through her works she explores "the relationship that exists between space, time and memory"; she is fascinated by the ephemeral nature of the instant, by the unrepeatable moment that she captures through the self-timer or acts in happenings as an image from which new and varied readings can branch out, depending on the subjective interpretation given by everyone to complete with a personal explanation what in the work is left indefinite.

On display at FOUR DIMENSIONS four photographic images of still frames from videos and the sequence "Space", which specifically depicts the perception, contemporary material and interior, of the space, through the movement of the body in a time that, in the staged situation, seems imprisoned by physical boundaries.

Marilena Vita has realized with the writer Gérard-Georges Lemaire a work of four hands: the artist's book in 12 editions "DIA-LOGO" (published by Miartè, Catania), consisting of photographic works by the artist and tales by the French author inspired by those photos. The volume, presented for the first time in January 2016 at Mudima Foundation in Milan and in February at Spazio 46 in the Doge's Palace in Genoa, will be introduced to the public in several upcoming appointments among which one that will take place at Red Stamp Art Gallery in Amsterdam.

Marilena Vita has exhibited internationally in numerous personal and group exhibitions in galleries and museums, among which the Italian solo shows at: SACS Gallery of Museum Riso in Palermo (Museum of Contemporary Art of Sicily), 2011; MLAC, Laboratory Museum of Contemporary Art of the University La Sapienza of Rome, 2011; Benedictine Museum in Catania, 2012. In 2004 she won the competition "Terre in Moto" with a permanent installation at the Museum of Contemporary Art of Gibellina (Trapani) and in 2013 the ORA International Prize. Her works are present in private and public collections; currently the artist is exhibiting at the First Edition of the Industrial Art Biennial in Labin (Croatia).

Marilena Vita (Siracusa, 1972), ha esposto per la prima volta in Olanda nel 2014 in occasione della sua personale SLEEPLESS SOUL presso Red Stamp Art Gallery. L'artista si avvale di differenti mezzi espressivi (pittura, installazione, fotografia, video arte, performance) con un comune intento: quello di portare alla luce, all'esistenza nel mondo reale, universi e condizioni incontrati nell'ambito privato dell'anima, nell'intimità della psiche, per permettere a se stessa e agli spettatori di confrontarsi con esperienze e contesti appartenenti ad un immaginario e ad una sfera emotiva universali.

Per Marilena Vita la dimensione spaziale è in prima istanza posta in atto attraverso il suo corpo, nel mettere in scena le sue performance o nell'entrare in situazioni dove è lei stessa a definire il set e ad agire come soggetto di scatti fotografici; in questi contesti la sua fisicità appare sempre addentrata in un altrove dall'allure quasi favolesca, ma non surreale: è uno spaziotempo di luoghi trasfigurati, di eventi richiamati dal profondo del proprio sentire immaginativo e trasportati come epifania nel presente di un azione unica o di accadimenti evocati da figure, che appaiono alla superficie tramite una narrazione della coscienza alla continua ricerca della visione riflessa di una se stessa trasmutata nel calarsi in diversi vissuti.

Lei stessa dichiara che nel suo lavoro indaga “il rapporto che si crea tra spazio, tempo e memoria”, affascinata dalla natura effimera dell' istante, dell'attimo irripetibile che blocca con l'autoscatto o agisce in happening come immagine da cui nuove e variegate letture si possono diramare a seconda della interpretazione soggettiva di ciascuno per completare ciò che vi è di indefinito con una propria personale esplicazione .

In mostra a FOUR DIMENSIONS quattro immagini fotografiche di still frame da video e la sequenza “Space”, che esplora specificamente la percezione, contemporaneamente materiale ed interiore, dello spazio, per mezzo del movimento del corpo in un tempo che nella situazione inscenata sembra imprigionato da confini fisici.

Marilena Vita ha realizzato insieme allo scrittore Gérard-Georges Lemaire un lavoro a quattro mani: il libro d'artista in 12 esemplari “DIA-LOGO” (edito da Miartè, Catania) composto da opere fotografiche dell'artista e da racconti dell'autore francese ad esse ispirati. Il volume, presentato per la prima volta a Gennaio 2016 alla Fondazione Mudima a Milano e a Febbraio presso lo Spazio 46 di Palazzo Ducale a Genova, verrà introdotto al pubblico in diversi appuntamenti futuri tra i quali uno avrà luogo alla Red Stamp Art Gallery in Amsterdam.

L'artista ha esposto internazionalmente in numerose rassegne, mostre collettive e personali in gallerie e musei, tra cui ricordiamo in Italia le personali presso: Galleria SACS del Museo Riso di Palermo (Museo d'Arte Contemporanea della Sicilia), 2011; MLAC, Museo Laboratorio di Arte Contemporanea dell'Università la Sapienza di Roma, 2011; Museo dei Benedettini di Catania, 2012; è vincitrice nel 2004 del concorso “ Terre in Moto” con installazione permanente al Museo d’Arte Contemporanea di Gibellina (Trapani) e nel 2013 del Premio ORA International. I suoi lavori presenziano in collezioni private e pubbliche; attualmente l'artista partecipa alla prima edizione della “Biennale Arte e Industria” a Labin (Croazia).

The exhibition FOUR DIMENSIONS aims to present the work of four different artists through artworks which serve as a starting point for knowledge and in-depth examination of four personalities and their peculiar sensitivities and creative dimensions, also with the intention to investigate the characteristic ways in which each of the four authors perceives, interprets and projects the three spatial dimensions and the temporal one in their artworks. The show will be open during two periods: from 18 March to 14 April and from 18 May to 25 June 2016.

La mostra FOUR DIMENSIONS intende presentare il lavoro di quattro diversi artisti per mezzo di opere che servano da spunto di conoscenza ed approfondimento di quattro differenti personalità e delle loro peculiari sensibilità e dimensioni creative, anche con l'intento di indagare la caratteristica modalità con cui ciascuno dei quattro autori percepisce, interpreta e proietta nelle proprie elaborazioni le tre dimensioni spaziali e quella temporale. L'evento potrà essere visitato durante due periodi: dal 18 Marzo al 14 Aprile e dal 18 Maggio al 25 Giugno 2016.

De tentoonstelling FOUR DIMENSIONS presenteert het werk van vier kunstenaars om te analyseren hun verschillende persoonlijkheden, gevoeligheden, creatieve dimensies en karakteristieke manieren om waarnemen, interpreteren en vertalen de tijdelijke en ruimtedimensies. De exhibitie kan worden bezocht tijdens twee periodes: van 18 Maart tot 14 April en van 18 Mei tot 25 Juni 2016.

Christian Zanotto (Marostica, Vicenza, IT, 1972) has already exhibited at Red Stamp Art Gallery in various solo and group exhibitions, among which the 2012 solo show AsAbaroK.

His artworks are characterized by a strong aesthetic and visual impact and investigate the nature and the mystery of existence and the archetypal field of the psyche: it's an approach which is sometimes metaphysical and which aims to deepen studies on perception, with the intent to psychologically and emotionally involve the public, in order to stimulate reactions and personal reflection. Christian Zanotto's artistic research goes beyond traditional mediums to create a technical and conceptual fusion of the material and immaterial, of the virtual world with the world of tradition, to explore the ways in which they interrelate.

He's a master of the digital arts, and molds, by means of various programs, intangible sculptures, elegant figures which he materializes on panels of crystal or translates, through animation, into video sequences and holographic installations: audiovisual creations which confront the viewer with another ambit, adjacent, parallel and co-present with the one commonly perceived, a staging of the multiple levels of reality. The figuration is formed by one-of-a-kind images, new icons of the digital era belonging to a fluid spacetime typical of artist's poetics, where the future of the technologies finds its most intense expression in the relation with the history of art.

Christian Zanotto interacts and works with the virtual domain and the impalpable dimension “beyond the screen”, an elsewhere by imponderable extension with which he leads the spectators to measure themselves through his artworks, places of reflections, thresholds that interface with that parallel universe. Space and time are for Christian Zanotto both the incorporeal and different ones of the digital world and the mysterious and absolute dimensions of the deep and dense black cosmos from which his enigmatic entities emerge and to which they belong: a temporality that goes beyond the sphere of the human and is almost frozen in the static poses of hieratic and fascinating characters with complex and precious details or chained in the circular loop of sculptures of light animated in movements of perpetual return to a starting point.

On display at FOUR DIMENSIONS three artworks on crystal and a holographic theca; the presentation of his new solo show at Red Stamp Art Gallery is upcoming.

Awarded in Milan in 2007 with the “Prize for Digital Art” of the “Prize of the Arts - Prize of the Culture", Christian Zanotto has exhibited internationally in numerous solo and group shows; his works are part of several private collections. The artist recently participated to the installational event "Visions on the Border", in collaboration with artist Luisa Mazza, presented on occasion of the festival "In the Places of the Beauty" VI Edition - 2016, in the Former St. Catherine's Church, Noto (Syracuse, IT).

Christian Zanotto (Marostica, Vicenza, 1972), ha già esposto il suo lavoro alla Red Stamp Art Gallery in occasione di varie mostre personali e collettive, tra cui ricordiamo nel 2012 la personale AsAbaroK.

Le sue opere, caratterizzate da un forte impatto estetico-scenico, indagano la natura ed il mistero dell'esistenza e il campo archetipico della psiche: un approccio a tratti metafisico che mira ad approfondire studi sulla percezione, con l'intento di coinvolgere lo spettatore dal punto di vista psicologico ed emozionale per stimolarne reazioni e riflessioni personali. La ricerca artistica di Zanotto si dirige oltre i medium classici creando una fusione tecnica e concettuale tra materiale e immateriale, tra il mondo del virtuale e quello della tradizione, esplorando i modi in cui essi si interrelazionano. Maestro delle arti digitali, plasma, per mezzo di vari software, sculture intangibili, eleganti figure che concretizza su lastre di cristallo o che traduce, animandole, in sequenze video e installazioni olografiche: lavori audiovisivi che pongono il fruitore di fronte ad un ambito altro, attiguo, parallelo e compresente a quello comunemente percepito, messa in scena dei molteplici livelli del reale. La figurazione si anima di immagini uniche, nuove icone dell'era digitale appartenenti ad uno spaziotempo fluido proprio della poetica dell'artista, dove il futuro delle tecnologie trova la sua espressione più intensa nel confronto con la storia dell'arte.

Christian Zanotto si relaziona e lavora con il dominio virtuale ed impalpabile della dimensione “oltre lo schermo”, un altrove dall'estensione imponderabile con cui porta il pubblico a misurarsi attraverso le sue opere, luoghi di riflessi, soglie che ci interfacciano con tale universo parallelo. Lo spazio ed il tempo sono per lui sia quelli incorporei ed altri del mondo digitale che quelli misteriosi ed assoluti del profondo e fitto cosmo nero da cui le sue enigmatiche entità emergono ed a cui appartengono: temporalità che va al di là delle sfera dell'umano, quasi congelata nelle statiche pose di ieratici ed affascinanti personaggi dai complessi e preziosi dettagli o incatenata nel loop circolare di sculture di luce animate in movimenti di perpetuo ritorno ad un punto iniziale.

In mostra a FOUR DIMENSIONS tre opere su cristallo e una teca olografica ; è prossima la presentazione di una sua nuova personale presso Red Stamp Art Gallery.

Premiato a Milano nel 2007 col “Premio per l'Arte Digitale” del “Premio delle Arti - Premio della Cultura”, Christian Zanotto ha esposto internazionalmente in numerose mostre personali e collettive; le sue opere fanno parte di varie collezioni private. Recente è la partecipazione dell'artista all'evento installativo "Visioni al Confine", in collaborazione con l'artista Luisa Mazza, presentato in occasione della rassegna "Nei Luoghi della Bellezza" VI Edizione - 2016, presso la Ex Chiesa di Santa Caterina a Noto (Siracusa).
